Two Brothers

These brothers were very busy! It seemed like when one would look at the camera, the other one wouldn't...then they'd switch! By brown chair seems to be coming in handy when it comes to boys though...they will sit on it long enough for me to get a few shots in!

Melissa and Aarron are one of my top clients, they know how important it is to capture their life on camera so they can look back at all the memories, and how much their children change. Well this weekend they brought the rest of the family along, and we had a lot of fun! We did regular photos as well as Christmas photos. The kids I think are getting used to being in front of the camera now, and were little angels...although Parker was on the go the whole time!

Ethan brought his parents into the studio last night for some family Christmas shots. (I'm not posting family photos of them cause I know they're giving some for Christmas presents!) He took a bit of bribing (as you can see the skittle bag...which my son decided to get in on the action as well) but we got some nice shots!

Devyn came to a visit to the studio last week for her newborn photos. At first I didn't think she was going to allow us any photos, but after her evening feed, by 10:00pm we had the ones we wanted! Even though it was past her mommy's bedtime! Here are a couple...

Lydia and Abby came into the studio this week for some Christmas photos, and to try out a new prop I got. I must say, I'm loving the new skirts! We had a lot of fun with them!

The Rutherfords

After 13 years, the Rutherfords are moving. There were a lot of memories made in this home, so what better spot to have a family photoshoot. This way, they will be able to look back and remember all those wonderful times they had.

These two will be getting married on my birthday...February 14th! They're worried about snowstorms, but I think it will be a beautiful winter day for them...fingers crossed! It's going to be interesting and fun to do something a bit different with a wedding, no garden scenery for us!

These are the newest editions to my family...Gracie and Eve. We finally got to do a studio shoot with them! My next battle will be to get them with their brother! Hopefully I can manage to!
They have come a long way, they now weight 6.4 pounds and 5.12 pounds...pretty much doubled in size!

This was a very short notice wedding for me. I got a phone call last week asking if I was free for the 17th for a couple of hours. I decided since the girls were still in the hospital, I'd get out and do one last wedding before the winter. It turned out to be a beautiful day, the weather was wonderful, although we had to act fast before we lost the light since it was an evening wedding!

I had the pleasure of photographing Joshua. I have photographed his brother Lukas many times, and I must say, they are both big boys!! I would have had these up sooner, but went in for my c-section a few days after taking these!!

Eve

Ok, I figure it is time to give an update to all my wonderful clients, followers and friends!! I had an emergency c-section on September 17th. My twin girls, Gracie and Eve, were born at 31 weeks. It put a stop to my work, that's for sure! But they are doing great, and are actually coming home from the hospital on Saturday! We are very excited.
I am still doing some studio work, although for the next couple of months, it will be select. So if you are interested in Christmas photos, you should contact me sooner than later, since I am only doing a small amount of studio work until after Christmas.
I am slowly working on a "revamp" and am very excited. I will have new goodies to offer in the new year! Also, there are a few links on my website (such as 'more samples') that are not working. Eventually I will get the website to full working potential, it has been put on the back burner a little bit, but I promise, it will soon be working wonderfully!!
Other then that, stay tuned!!

Keith and Holly are also getting married next year, so we did their engagement session this summer...never hurts to plan ahead! We started in the park, then moved over to the fire station, since Keith is a volunteer firefighter!! Just a sneak peak!

This is the reason the studio has has to come to a stop for the next few months! I am expecting twin girls!! They are due November, but I will be having them the end of this month....very excited!
I can honestly tell you though, I enjoy being behind the camera, instead of infront of it. Can't say I'm comfortable at all having my picture taken, but like I say to all my clients, it's so important to capture these special moments...so I took the plunge.

This was a very low key wedding, which was a nice change. After the ceremony we went back to their house and did the photos in their backyard. Sara looked beautiful, Blake cleaned up nice, and Riley was a cutie!

Once again, got lucky with the rain! It was a beautiful day, a hot day, but who can complain? Sherry was one of those brides you don't have to tell how to pose at all, she was such a natural! Dustin looked handsome, although I don't know, Jay seemed to steal the spot light with the girls a few times!

Tina is a very beautiful pregnant mom!! She has one of those perfect bodies and perfect bellies...so envious!! :)
We tried something a bit different, and I'm really liking it, I think this is how I will do my own maternity photos. Lukas even participated in a few, although we had to bribe with stickers!

Ethan just turned one in June, so we did his 1 year old photos. He was much more interested in throwing the cupcakes though, then eatting them. He's the first baby to actually hit me with cupcakes!

Woke up last weekend to pouring rain, but by the time Dan and Heather's wedding came around in the afternoon, the rain was replaced by heat!! And mosquitoes! It was a very hot day, but we still managed to get a good amount of photos before everyone melted!
